Accessibility

Accessibility statement

Aldor strives for an accessible user experience under BFSG (the German accessibility act) and EN 301 549. This statement documents the current status and how to report obstacles.

Scope

What this statement covers.

This statement applies to the public website aldor.ai (including /preise, /sicherheit, /faq, and equivalent pages) and to the signed-in Aldor application. It does not apply to external providers we link to (for example the Scalar documentation library under /api/v1/docs).

Status

Current conformance status.

Aldor is partially conformant with EN 301 549 and WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We are developing Aldor toward full conformance with all material requirements by 28 June 2027.

Internal tests are run with NVDA, VoiceOver, keyboard navigation, and axe-core. An external BFSG certification is planned for 2026.

Standard

What we already meet.

  • Keyboard operation for every function (WCAG 2.1.1)
  • Visible focus ring on every interactive control (WCAG 2.4.7)
  • Minimum 44 × 44 px target for primary actions (WCAG 2.5.5)
  • Color contrast AA for body text, AAA for the headline typeface (WCAG 1.4.3)
  • Reduce-motion detection — every animation pauses on request (WCAG 2.3.3)
  • Screen-reader labels and ARIA roles on every ViewComponent

Exclusions

What's outside our control.

Content that clients or helpers upload into Aldor — photos, voice recordings, free-form notes — is not automatically made accessible. We provide tools (speech-to-text, mandatory alt-text fields) but cannot guarantee accessibility of user-generated content.

Contact

Reporting an obstacle.

If you encounter a barrier, write to datenschutz@aldor.ai. We respond within 14 days, usually much faster. Please include "Accessibility Aldor" in the subject.
